The Québec Aboriginal Chiefs of Police held their annual meeting this year in Quebec City from June 13th to 15th 2023. On the third day of the event, police officers who have dedicated 15, 20, 30 and 40 years of service were honoured during the Medal Presentation Ceremony. Among the recipients were Eeyou Eenou Police Force`s Michael Blacksmith (15 years), Shannon Nakogee (15 years), Gordon Snowboy (15 years), Johnny Kawapit (20 years), Gabriel Masty (20 years), Robie Petawabano (20 years) Donna Rupert (20 years), Tommy Grant (30 years). We would like to thank them for their dedication and commitment to the safety of the Cree Nation.
