On September 21, 2023, the Nemaska Detachment of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force conducted a drug operation and executed 2 search warrants under the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act on a residence and a vehicle.
Two individuals between 35-40 years of age were arrested and both of them were released with Promise To Appear to attend court scheduled for January 2024.
The EEPF seized close to an ounce of white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash money and a vehicle was seized as an Offence Related Property.
