FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Eastmain, Qc – August 1, 2024 – Members of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force of the Eastmain detachment responded to a call on July 31st 2024 regarding a woman found unresponsive in her residence. The officer arrived at the scene and commenced chest compressions as our call center dispatchers notified Eastmain’s first responders for immediate assistance.
The 48-year-old woman was later declared deceased by medical staff at Eastmain’s local clinic.
Eeyou Eenou Police Force would like to thank the first responders and medical staff for their efforts. We wish to express our condolences to friends and family for their loss.
