FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Waskaganish, Qc – February 21, 2025 – Members of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force of the Waskaganish detachment, along with members of the Sûreté du Québec, intervened earlier today with three individuals who had consumed a drug, resulting in two being hospitalized and one monitored by the medical CMC staff in Waskaganish. The drug is identified as a blue pill. One side of the pill is marked “Red Bull,” while the other side features an image of a bull. This potentially contaminated drug may be circulating in the community and is considered dangerous. EEPF seized the pill and will be sent for analysis to determine the type of drugs it contains. At this time, we do not know what exactly this pill is and we want to inform and warn the public to refrain from consuming. If anyone has any information concerning this matter, please contact your local detachment.
