Eeyou Eenou Police Force visited their 9th ACS Police Technology for Indigenous Police Forces cohort at the Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue in Rouyn-Noranda. Meeting with future officers, EEPF presented and shared their knowledge and experience with current cohort students. Presentations were done by Deputy Director of Operations Bradley Mianscum, Officer Shawn Masty, Lieutenant Michael Blacksmith and Human Resources Manager Pauline Lameboy. The visit was then followed by the Cégep’s recognition ceremony for the students who have completed the ACS program, that will be moving on to the ENPQ in Nicolet. Speeches were given by Christine Desrosiers, Pedagogical Advisor at Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue; Bradley Mianscum, Deputy Director of Operations EEPF; Isabelle Coursol Teacher at the ACS program and Sylvain Blais, Director of Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
