FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Waskaganish, Qc– April 3, 2024– Members of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force of the Waskaganish detachment answered to a call on Sunday March 31st, 2024 regarding an individual that was found unresponsive.
The person was transported to the local clinic where they were later pronounced deceased.
At this time, no foul play is suspected and the investigation has since been turned over to the Sûreté du Québec.
The Eeyou Eenou Police Force would like to express their condolences to the family and friends during their time of loss.
