Joining the Eeyou Eenou Police Force is a great way to be involved in the well-being of your community and Eeyou Istchee. Cree communities have their own needs in law enforcement. We believe in community policing: more support and fewer arrests. Using our language and traditional communication makes a difference for everyone involved. That’s why we are asking you to be part of the solution. Get involved and help us make our communities healthier and safer.
Policing Program Requirements:
- Cree beneficiary and have a promise of employment
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent
- No criminal record
- Meet the physical entry test
- Meet the medical requirement of policing regulation
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be of good moral character and habits
To accelerate the selection process, we ask that you:

- Cegep Application
- Submit all required documents;
- Inform us of any missing documents;
